La mosca con que me obsequia ese artista anónimo de Suabia cada vez que me aproximo al retrato de una de los Hofer me introduce en la periferia de un escenario voyerista que reinventa los márgenes con el centro de la mirada. 

 The fly given to me by that anonymous Swabian artist, whenever I get close to the woman’s portrait from the Hofer family, places me at the periphery of a voyeuristic stage that reinvents what is marginal with the center of my gaze.

Cuando a ese artista de Suabia le encargaron pintar el retrato de esa dama de la familia de los Hofer, el pintor intuyó sin ninguna clarividencia que el tiempo nos reuniría a través del espejismo de una mosca.

When that Swabian artist was commissioned to paint the portrait of that woman from the Hofer family, he knew, lacking all clairvoyance, that time would bring us together through a fly mirage.
